ERCHA Snaffle Bit Classic 4-5 Yrs: Giovanni Campanaro still on top in Open after Herd Work, Sara Casalini extends lead in L1 Open

Today the ERCHA Snaffle Bit Classic Open for 4 and 5 year old horses continued with the Herd Work. Here Giovanni Campanaro shined with the 5-year-old Trix Aristocrat MR (Tassas Aristocrat x GH Dual Snappin), who achieved top score 218. Combined with the 217 from Reined Work, that added up to 435 points, which meant the lead so far. Campanaro was already 2022 ERCHA Futurity Open Champion with this mare.

Sara Casalini aboard Giovanni Conti’s Gunner On Line (Shine On Line x Shyawhiz) and Pietro Tuberga aboard Domenico Sapino’s Katrina Hope Olena tied for second place in overall ranking. Both came in with a 214 from the Herd Work and brought it up to a 431 with a 217 from the Reined Work.

With this Sara Casalini extended her lead in the L1 Open. Here follows on place 2 with a total of 416.5 points Tomas Barta on Karls Simons CR Tuff Calie Rey in front of William Coulomb on WR Shining Remedy (408).

 

ERCHA Snaffle Bit Classic Non Pro and L1 Non Pro 4-5 Yrs: Edoardo Ferro takes the lead after Herd Work

The Herd Work in the ERCHA Snaffle Bit Classic Non Pro and L1 Non Pro 4-5 Yrs was won by Edoardo Ferro and Sperk Aristocrat MR (Tassas Aristocrat x A Vintage Chic). The 216 together with the 211 from the Reined Work made a total of 427 points, which means new lead in the overall standings.

Giorgia Girardello and Girl of Spark (Spark N Whiz x One More Whiz Girl) followed in second place with a total of 424.5, ahead of Lorenzo Colombo and Henry Royal Rey (Roany Rey x Mariah Pep) – total score: 416.5.

So Lorenzo Colombo is still in the lead in ERCHA Snaffle Bit Classic Non-Pro Boxing 4-5-6 Yrs after the Herd Workk. Fabio Francesconi and MR Snapper Dancer (406.5) are now in second place, followed by Alice Bruscaini and DG Pep Ray (405.5).

Stefanie Steidle wins ERCHA Two-Rein Open

The ERCHA Two-Rein Open went to Stefanie Steidle with the 7-year-old stallion Metallic Rooster DR (Magneticat x Shez No Rooster). The two showed a nice Rein Work, which was rewarded by the judges with a 143.5, and also knew how to convince on the cattle (141) – total score: 284.5.

Second place went to Martin Schemuth on TJ Sharp Dressed Man, who scored a total of 278 points with 142 in Rein Work and a 136 in Fencework. He was followed in third place by Christoph Seiler with Chics Smart Colonel with a total score of 276.5 and the second best fencework.

ERCHA Two-Rein Non Pro goes to Sylvia Bate

The ERCHA Two-Rein Non Pro was won by Sylvia Bate with her 6-year-old mare First Cats Got Luck (Cats Got Freckles x Latex Glo), who showed the best fencework of the field (140) and a total score of 271.5. First Cats Got Luck was the 2021 ERCHA Futurity Champion Non Pro under Gabriele Poli Barberis.

Sabine Brasche and her Bet Hesa Wildcat came in second with a total of 267.5 points, followed by Armin Traub on Bet Hesa Sugarboy (264). Dr. Achim Götz, who had delivered the second best Rein Work with UT Diamonds In Town, came in 4th with a total of 256.5 points.
