ERCHA/NRCHA Autumn Show and Regional Finals

 

The final day in Travagliato (BS) Italy for the European Reined Cow Association Autumn Show and Regional Finals, is in the books. Starting the day is a full slate of Championship Classes where cow horse riders show their abilities also for the 2022 Regional Finals.

In addition, the special event for 4-5 year-old horses showed two handed in snaffle brings more excitement in the Palacittà arena. This was the last event for the 2022 ERCHA show season.

Autumn Show Open

 

The best of 4-5 year old horses showed two handed in snaffle is Dual Aristocrat MR ridden by Italian professional rider Giovanni Campanaro. The 5-year-old stallion sired by Tassas Aristocrat and out of GH Dual Snappin is owned by Antonio Marmo and began with a 71 in the herd work, then continued with a 73 in the rein work and finish with a 74 down the fence for a total of 218 points. Another title is added to the long show record of the nice sorrel. “After the Futurity I rode him very little, it was not easy because we have been competing for three years now and this is the last show. However, I am satisfied with this result, it has proved to be an excellent horse once again.

 

With 216.5 (70/72.5/74) points the Autumn Show Open Reserve Champion but also Autumn Show Level 1 Champion titles went to William Coulomb. The French rider presented WR Shining Remedy, a 4-year-old Quarter Horse mare sired by WR This Cats Smart and out of Shining Smart Remedy. “Today was simply great! I feel very well my horse, after the Futurity show here in Travagliato she still improved and now she is incredible. I want to say thanks to Markus Schopfer who found for me WR Shining Remedy.”

 

Andrea Sanfelici from Italy, presented his 4-year-old Gunner On Line (Shine On Line x Shyawhiz) and took home Reserve Champions honours in the Level 1 Open division of the Autumn Show with a total of 216 (71/72/73).

 

Autumn Show Non Pro

 

France represented by Chloe Litou and Good Time For Dualin step up on the first position of the Autumn Show Non Pro Boxing division thanks to a very regular performance, their total score is a 210 (69/70/71). This is a very nice show for Chloe who also won the Autumn Show Non Pro and Level 1 Non Pro divisions. Her 5-year-old gelding is sired by Hickory Holly Time and out of Dualin Martina and repeat himself posting a total score of 212 (69/70/73) to win the titles. “This show was incredible for me, I never did this score so it’s awesome. The previous day was intensive for the horse but also for me. He gave me all, even again today. I want to thanks William Coulomb who did a great job with him since he was 3-year-old, it’s a big achievement today for everybody!”

 

Autumn Show Non Pro and Level 1 Non Pro Reserve Champions is German rider Kerstin Breitenbach with her MA Lionel Cat, a 4-year-old mare sired by SDP Justice is Comin and out of Trust Me Today. The score of this pair was a 205 (68/70/67).

Filippo Masi Novice Riders

 

The Filippo Masi Novice Riders Champions are from Italy, Andrea Ambrogiani with Top Star All Dun (Billy All Dun x Tops O Lena Star). The 4-year-old Paint Horse mare owned by Claudio Gattone scored a total of 142.5 points (69.5/73). With a 140.5 (68.5/72) 9-year-old gelding Epic Rush ridden by Sebastian Gorni for owner Giorgia Girardello brings home Reserve Champion honours.

 

From Italy is also the Novice Riders Regional Final Champion, Valentina Bisaschi presented AC Little Star (Painted Peppy Star x Achy Braky Me) 8-year-old gelding owned by Cristiano Greci; this horse and rider combination total score is a 140 (70/70). 2 points behind the winners: 138 (68.5/69.5), Sara Crisci with Smart Theodor (SLJ Smart Doc x Sparks Rosellina) owned by Francesca Bosin, are the Reserve Champions for this final.

 

Davide Mangione and Bob Acres Gold (Ravishing Time x Dungenuigoldynx), 12-year-old Quarter Horse gelding owned by Michele Mangione are Youth Novice Riders Regional Champions with a total of 137 points (68/69).

 

Open Bridle

 

Italian professional rider Giovanni Campanaro with Hot As Wasabi (Little Dulces Rey x Whirlacat), 8-year-old Quarter Horse mare owned by Sarah Destefanis are Open Bridle Champions with a total score of 146 points (72.5/73.5). Half point behind the winners, with a total of 145.5 points (72.5/73), Markus Schopfer presented Metallics Journey (Metallic Cat x Smart Little Theodore), 7-year-old Quarter Horse stallion owned by Magnus Gustafsson.

 

In the Limited Open Bridle class Alessandro Coppari and Thaz A Boy (ARC Tora Tora x Snap And Twist) bring home Champion title after posting a 144.5 (72.5/72). Federico Fanti rode WR Smart N Slinky on a total of 138 (72/66), and went up to the second step of the podium. WR Smart N Slinky is a 6-year-old Quarter Horse mare owned by Massimo Morenghi from Italy.

 

Limited Non Pro Bridle

 

From Austria Peter Trixner riding his 7-year-old mare CR Tuff Boon Pickens (Woody Be Tuff x CR Dees Boon Meow) scored a 137 total score (68/69) to win the title of Limited Non Pro Bridle Champion. 135 (68/67) is the total of Marco Breitenbach from Germany on his VR Lolita Pep, a 10-year-old Quarter Horse mare sired by Star G Grand Peppy and out of Lolita Jacs, thanks to their score they bring home Reserve Champion honours.

 

Box Drive

 

The winner of the Box Drive class for the last stage of the 2022 European Reined Cow Horse Association Champions is Valerio Adler for Italy riding his 9-year-old gelding Hollywood Pepito (Peptos Lil Bingo x Jacs Little Nugget) and the score of 136 points (65/71).

 

Raimundo Segura brings in Spain Box Drive Regional Final Champion title on his ANS Snack Cat (ANS Mokie Cat x ANS Wyatt Snappy), thanks to the score of 135 points (67/68) Raimundo took also Reserve Champions title in the National Box Drive class. Box Drive Regional Final Reserve Champions are from France: Maelis Mignozzi and This Honey Cat (CR A Cat Named Sue x Millenium Honey Pep).
