The final day at the NRCHA ERCHA Futurity 2022 is in the book. Champions are crowned in many divisions and classes.
Filippo Masi Novice Riders
The final day at the ERCHA Futurity – Derby and Nations Cup begins with championship classes. In the Filippo Masi Novice Riders the Champion is Sara Crisci with Smart Theodore (SLJ Smart Doc x Sparks Rosellina) between the reins. This duo posted a total score of 142.5 (71/71.5): “I’m really satisfied of my horse, each time I enjoy our run and I want to say thank you to my trainer Andrea Sanfelici.” Reserve Champions honours went to Clarissa Bianchi and Hollywood Vip (Hollywoodtinseltown x CD Travailed Oak) with the total of 140.5 (68.5/72).
Youth Novice Riders
Young rider from Italy, Edoardo Poli Barberis had here in Travagliato his first show ever, riding Easy Smart Booms (Smart Easy Deal x Blue Boons Lil Sue) to win Youth Novice Riders class. Our congratulations to Edo after the awards presentation: “I enjoy my run today, at home I ride each day and I hope to make another show as soon as I can! I want to say thanks to my Mum and my Dad.”
Open Hackamore
Marking a total score of 138.5 (70.5/68) Italian professional rider Samuele Poli Barberis with Easy Smart Boons (Smart Easy Deal x Blue Boons Lil Sue) owned by Alessandra Bologna, is Open Hackamore Champions. “This horse gives me everything on this show, I’m more than happy. It is really nice to show him!” Reserve champion title went to Patrick Sattler and Diamonds Lovely Kiss (Big Chic Gun x SZ Smodkin Diamond) for owner Johanna and Franz Vorraber with a 136.5 total (67.5/69).
Limited Non Pro Bridle
From Austria Andrea Popp on Sugars Smartest Lena (Honky Tony Player x Sugars Doc Tari) took the lead in the Limited Non Pro Bridle with a total score of 142 points (71/71). German rider Marco Breitenbach with VR Lolita Pep (Star G Grand Peppy x Lolita Jacs) comes out from the Palacittà with a total of 138 (70/68) and reserve champion honours.
Two Reins
Federico Fanti from Italy just crowned Nations Cup Team Competition Champion took another title in the Two Reins Open class with a consistent 145 total score (71.5/73.5) aboard WR Smart N Slinky (WR This Cats Smart x Chupikas Real Jewel) for owner Massimo Morenghi.
Gabriele Ghisio on his Oif Cash Bar King (Er Hot Chex x Continental PlayGirl) thanks to a total of 140 point (71.5/68.5) are Reserve Champions in the Open division.
141.5 (70.5/71) is the total score of Swiss rider Vera Walliser and CD Fortunate Son (Metallic Cat x CDS Lucky Gal). The duo is Two Reins Non Pro Champions. Marie Mura and her Woody Choco Pepto (Stylin Dual x Mamaws Little Pepto) posted a 141 (70/71) for the second place, only half a point behind the winners.
Futurity
A thrilling evening of working cow horse took place in Travagliato and the 2022 European Reined Cow Horse Association Futurity Champions are crowned. Italian professional rider Giovanni Campanaro qualified five horses in the Futurity Open final, riding Trix Aristocrat MR (Tassas Aristocrat x GH Dual Snappin) on a big 219 (72/73/74) taking home Futurity Open Champion title for owner Matese Ranch.
Co-reserve Open Champion title for Pietro Tuberga and 4 year old sorrel mare Katrina Hope Olena (Oaks Lone Pepto x Haida Oleana) owned by Domenico Sapino, their score is a 218 (71.5/73/73.5). Giovanni Campanaro again this time riding 4 year old stallion Henry Royal Rey (Roany Rey x Mariah Pep) owned by Lorenzo Colombo, 218 (71.5/72/74.5).
Sara Casalini and Gunner On Line are ERCHA Futurity Level 1 Open Champions with a 216 (73/72/71). Gunner On Line is a 4 year old gelding sired by Shine On Line con mamma Shyawhiz owned by Andrea Sanfelici.
On second step of the podium of the Futurity Level 1 Open was French rider William Coulomb and the 4 year old bay mare WR Shining Remedy (WR This Cats Smart x Shining Smart Remedy) owned by Marie Mura , their total was a 214 (70/71/73).
Edoardo Ferro and Sperk Aristocrat MR won the Futurity Boxing division with a 216.5 (72/71.5/73). Sperk Aristocrat Mr is a 4 year old Quarter Horse mare sired by Tassas Aristocrat and out of A Sparkling Vintage. Later in the evening, this duo comes back in the arena for another final run and posted a 214.5 to take the lead also in the Futurity Level 1 division.
From Germany Sophie Kruspe on Sharp Shining Gun (Sharp Dressed Shiner x Love A Little Gunner) was Reserve Champion with a 204 total score (62/70/72).
European Reined Cow Horse Association Futurity Non Pro Champion is Mario Petrosino on LR Spat Mokie Cat (ANS Mokie Cat x Of Spat) owned by Giuseppe Petrosino, 212 their total score (69/72/71). “I’m really proud and for sure happy about this win. I wait this moment for a long time and now… I can’t still believe!”
Matteo Ambrosino Nobili and Custom Spider Dual (Custom Blackberry x Girls Got Duals) owned by Vittorio Ambrosino Nobili, ended with a Reserve Champions title in the Futurity Non Pro with a total of 209.5 (69/69.5/71).
