The European Reined Cow Horse Association Hackamore Classic, approved by the National Reined Cow Horse Association, is for horses 4 and 5 years of age and under that have never been shown in a bridle down the fence at any judged reined cow horse event. Horses are shown in a traditional hackamore with closed reins in herd, rein and cow work.
With each year, the number of 3 and 4-year-old horses in reined cow horse grows, also increasing the number competing in the Derby age events and moving from the snaffle bit to the hackamore.
This year 18 horse rider combinations will do their best in the beautiful arena of Palacittà of Travagliato – Brescia, Italy from 16 to 19 June. With a total Added money of 4.350$ this special event will feature 5 divisions as following:
- Hackamore Classic Open 3.000$
- Hackamore Classic Level 1 Open 500$
- Hackamore Classic Non Pro 500$
- Hackamore Classic Level 1 Non Pro 250$
- Haackamore Classic Non Pro Boxing 100$
- Added money for Horse Show Classes will be 1.650$
