He did a great job during the whole AMERICANA week showing off how big-hearted and athletic he is!”

The Italian Professional also took reserve honors in both the Open Futurity and Derby with Shesagenuinelypepto (Oaks Lone Pepto x Genuinely Pepto), owned by Loris Paone, between the reins closing with an 864.5.

Pietro Tuberga and Katrina Hope Olena (Oaks Lone Pepto x Haida Oleana), owned by Domenico Sapino, won the 2021 €1.000-added ERCHA/NRCHA Limited Open Futurity Championship: “AMERICANA has been an amazing adventure. I’m so happy with the results, even considering that the mare I rode, who is now 3 years old, also placed third in the Open Futurity despite her young age. She’s a special one, bred by a very close friend of mine [Marco Mangano], and I’ve had her in training since she was two. Thanks to the owner, who blindly believes in my program, I managed to accomplish this great result”.

With an 839 composite, Limited Open Futurity Reserve Champions were Andrea Sanfelici and One Time Snapper (Oaks Lone Pepto x Genuinely Snapper).

Davide Di Giacinto took the €1.000-added ERCHA/NRCHA Limited Open Derby Championship with Giovanni Sacchetti’s CD Salvatus Olena topping the ranking with a final composite of 838.5.

“No words can describe this winning feeling! It’s always an amazing experience here in Augsburg. We did our best, and we are taking home this Championship which is even sweeter since this home bred horse is sired by my stallion and trained by me.”

“I hope I will survive all these emotions,” said Elisa [Gabriele’s mother]. “They were great throughout the whole show, and my boy is only 16 years old, so I guess we still have a lot more years to come in the reined cow horse arenas!”

It’s my second show, I don’t have that much experience, but my horse was awesome. Giovanni [Campanaro] showed her until last year when we decided that I should start riding her, and here we are! We now have the ERCHA Autumn Show coming up, then we’ll make a plan of next year. Thanks to Campanaro and to Giacomo Caruso, this week ended with a big win for me!”

Coming to the finals as the go round leader, Alessandro Tugnoli topped the € 1.500-added ERCHA/NRCHA Non Pro Derby Finals aboard his own Smarttarisdeal (Smart Easy Deal x Ot Taris Peppy) with an 840 total score as well as the Reserve Championship with his second mount, The One Dark Deal (Smart Easy Deal x Miss Mify Olena), with an 827.5 total composite. “As I said earlier in the week, my goal was to make the finals with both of my horses. It went better than I hoped for, and a big part of this win is thanks to my trainer Pietro [Tuberga] who did an amazing job. I have to thank my wife for giving me the opportunity to come to this long show since she is at home taking care of everything.”

The €500-added ERCHA/NRCHA Amateur Derby was all about Claudio Ferrami from Italy, who won the title with an 819 composite score aboard his own SA Ret Hickory N San (Ret Great N San x Hickory Sanote). “I’m happy with the result, even though I’m a little disappointed with the go round. I really want to improve my skills to be better next year. This is my last show with this horse, but I’ve already started working on my 2-year-old that I’ll show next year”.

Swiss Shirley Schalcher rode her own SS Smart Cash N Cerry (Big And Sweet BB x Miss Flipstick) to an 805 closing in second place.
