Markus Schopfer riding Dual Chic SQVR won the title of Hackamore Classic Open Champion and Christoph Seiler took the title in the Limited Open division of this special event.

It ‘was a good win, that one signed by Schopfer in this limited event reserved for horses aged 4 and 5 years old mounted in traditional  hackamore. Markus Schopfer, italian trainer at his facility near Turin leads his stallion 4 years Dual Chic SQVR (Mister Dual Pep x Chic Vintage) owned by the same Schopfer to the title of European Reined Cow Horse Association Hackamore Classic Open Champion on Sunday June 14th at the functional structure of Ca’ Masiero Ranch in Mestrino (PD).

Schopfer led Dual Chic SQVR to mark a score of 219 (73 herd / 73 rein / 73 cow), winning $ 1,225. The title of Hackamore Classic Open Champion earned him winning the big ribbon, bronze and covered offered by the Ercha.

Dual Chic SQVR is ridden by the Italian trainer since the beginning, and together they had already participated with good placings in all special event organized by the European reined Cow Horse Association, but on this occasion the combination puts his seal final at the first opportunity of the 2015 show season.

The title of Hackamore Classic Open Reserve Champion and Limited Open Champions goes back to Christoph Seiler, this time riding Mr Major, sorrel gelding son of Mr Colenel Smart; thanks to the total score of 208,5 (69 herd /67,5 rein /72 cow). This beautiful 2010 class sorrel male is owned by Seiler QH.

Second place honors in the Limited Open division of this special event went to Italian trainer Stefano Chiari riding Stefano Secchi’s Miss Skylish, 4-years-old sorrel mare by More Than Stylish and out of Gallo Del Cielo mare. The duo posted a total score of 198,5 (69 herd/ 68,5 rein/61 cow).

Sabine Brasche took the lead in the Hackamore Classic Non Pro and Loris Raffagnato that one in the Limited Non Pro

German veterinary Sabine Brasche took the lead in the Non Pro division of the Hackamore Classic riding Peptomoonsmal, a 5-years-old sorrel gelding out of Pepto Zone and Lil Peptorella. The talented horse had been trained by the same Sabine. Together have always a very good agreement and their total score was 210 (69,5 herd / 69 rein / 71,5 cow).

In second place in the Non Pro division and in the first of the Limited Non Pro, we find the Italian followed by Serena Bagnara, Loris Raffagnato riding trusted Red Ruby Star (Star Spangled Whiz x Little Bag Of Rubies), bay female in which the rider offers a good sign 201 (60 herd /68,5 rein /72,5 cow).

Ancillary action

In conjunction to Ercha Hackamore Classic was running the third leg of the 2015 Ercha championship and regional categories added.

Herdwork All Ages

In the Open division the winner was Markus Schopfer riding CD Miss N Cat with a score of 72. CD Miss N Cat is a sorrel gelding owned by German Caroline Baudinger. In the Non Pro on the first step of the podium we find Silvia Terazzi with her Belinda Starlight and the score of 70 points. In the regional Open Oscar Vettore won with Smart Buck A Roo between the reins and Mattia Maurizi riding FM The Winner Is impose himself in the non pro regional.

Novice Riders and Non Pro Limited

Young Italian Francesca Palmiro with Kids Magic Star won both the Novice Riders with a 143 (72 rein/71 boxing) and the Non Pro Limited Bridle with a 142 (70,5 rein/71,5 boxing). Regional Novice Riders and regional Non Pro Limited Bridle winner was Lucia Carnevaletti and Jacklight Swingo. 137 the score in the novice riders (68 rein/69 boxing) and 134 that one of the non pro limited (63,5 rein/70,5 boxing).

Novice Horse Non Pro

Maria Giulia Fanti and Go Daniel Alito are the winners of the Novice Horse Non Pro class with a total of 141 (68 rein/73 fence).

Novice Horse Open

Markus Schopfer riding Mirko Viviani’s Enterprise Dude took the lead in the Novice Horse Open with a score of 142 (71 rein/71 fence).

Open Bridle

Markus Schopfer always on the first step of the podium also this time! Riding his Peptos Lil Bingo (Peptoboonsmal x Conchita Gay Bingo) the italian trainer posted a very good 149 (73 rein/76 fence).

Limited Open Bridle and Two Reins Open

In both the classes the winner is Italian Claudio Salvia with his Frozen Peppys Lena, 6-year-old dun mare owned by the same Salvia. The duo marked a total score of 141,5 (70,5 rein/71 fence) in the Limited Open Bridle and a 140 (71 rein/69 fence) in the Two Reins Open class.

Two Reins Non Pro

In the regional Two Reins Non Pro division we find again on the first step of the podium Mattia Maurizi and FM The Winner Is with a score of 136,5 (68,5 rein/68 fence). While on the european division Paolo Pencelli and PP Mega Chex took the win with a 135 (68 rein/67 fence).

Non Pro Bridle

Young Italian Rider Nicola Artoni with Buenomax (Buenonic Chex x Pidgeon Poo) between the reins won the Non Pro Bridle class with a score of 133 (67 rein/66 fence). Marco Piersanti won the regional with Topsail Boy and the score of 140,5 (69,5 rein/71 fence).
