ERCHA/NRCHA FUTURITY

EQUITA’ – LYON – FRANCE

The Nrcha/Ercha Futurity 2012 was held at the beautyful western fair of Equità Lyon-France. Jannette Steffl and Eugenio Latorre was the judges of this show.

The winner of the open futurity was Markus Schopfer riding Chics A Shining (Chic Please x Sparkling Sabrina) owned by Johannes Tsagher, their score was 144 in the herd work, 144.5 in the rein work and 146 in the cow work, for a total score of 434.5. Reserve champion honors went again to Markus Schopfer this time aboard Shiney Toplena (Shining Spark x Lenas Topsy) owned by Paolo Marasso: 146-137.5-148.

In the limited open futurity the winner was Maik Bartmann and Smart Little Theo (Smart Flying Colours x Honey Be Smart) owned by Heinrich Schmitz, their scores: 143 – 136 – 139. Second place for Alex Tuzakov with Rhythm Is A Dancer (Mr Pan Leo x Awensome Dun It) owned by Ilka Kabourek: 139.5 in the herd work, 140 in the rein work and 138 down the fence.

In the non pro section of this futurity: Adelmo Vannini with his A Time To Sparkle (A Chic In Time x Diamond Scarlett) gained double title of non pro and limited non pro champion. Reserve champion honors in both the classes went to Joschka Werdermann and Chaca Julia, criollo mare out of Caa capote and Inka: 132 – 140.5 – 134.

Talking about championship classes: in the non pro bridle class, the german rider Martin Schemuth and Shiners Red Pepper gained the title of champion with a score of 274 (135-139). Eliane Gfeller riding Missys Magic Potion won the second place: 267.5 (131.5 – 136).

Double champion title in the limited open and open bridle for Frederic Roux abroad his Shamrock King Jack, with a good 280 (135-145). Manoel Pourras and SA Skippy Choice was the reserve champion in both classes: 276 (131-145).

In the non pro limited bridle the winner was Michel Mas and Slashy Quixote, for them the score was 282.5 (135.5-147). Jean Michel Villepelet riding Double Pequeno Chex took the second place with a 276.5 (136.5-140).

Markus Schopfer abroad Chics A Shining owned by Johannes Tsagher took also the Open Hackamore champion honors with a score of 294.5 (143.5-151). Reserve champion in this class was Samuele Poli with This Cats Light and the score of 287.5 (142.5-145).

In the two reins open the winner is again Markus Schopfer this time riding Remedy The Roan, roan mare owned by Dominique Reynaud, thanks to a  283 (140-143). Second place for Manoel Pourras and Rooster For Me: 271.5 (136.5-135).
