2025 ERCHA/NRCHA Bet Hesa Boon Pre Futurity
We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the ERCHA/NRCHA Bet Hesa Boon Pre Futurity, a prestigious competition dedicated to promising three- and four-year-old horses. Held in Travagliato (BS), Italy, this exciting event showcased talented young horses expertly ridden in snaffle bit two-handed, highlighting the skill and training of both horses and riders. The competition provided a platform for emerging equine stars to demonstrate their potential on an international stage.
Bet Hesa Boon Pre Futurity Open
Italian professional rider Giovanni Campanaro is crowned Bet Hesa Boon Pre Futurity Open Champion on Saturday evening at the Travagliato Palacittà (Italy). Between his rein the 4-year-old gelding NR Ruby Time Cat (Woodys Time x KR Ruby Buddy Cat) for owner Giuseppe Sgalambro ending with a big 218.5 (73 herd/71.5 rein/74 cow).
Bet Hesa Boon Pre Futurity Limited Open and Level 1 Open
A total of 216 (70 herd/72.5 rein/73.5 cow) is the score of the Bet Hesa Boon Pre Futurity Limited Open and Level 1 Open Champions; from France William Coulomb and 4-year-old Tassas Dreamer Mr (Tassas Aristocrat x Whiz Dreamer) owned by Miroc Quarter Horses and bred by Matese Ranch. Thanks to their score Coulomb and his black stallion got also Reserve Champion title in the Open division.
In the Limited Open division second place honours went to Italian professional rider Andrea Sanfelici who presented the 3-year-old Quarter Horse stallion Magnificat Cash VE sired by Reyzin The Cash and out Lovely Magnificat. The talented sorrel, owned by Andrea Sanfelici and bred by Eric Veerle, ended with a total of 215 (71.5 herd/71 rein/72.5 cow).
While in the Level 1 Open division Italian Andrea Favaretto brings home Reserve Champion title with 4-year-old stallion Sdp Browser (High Brow CD x What A Rey) owned by Silvia Viaggi and bred by SDP Buffalo Ranch. Their score was a 213.5 (74 herd/67 rein/72.5 cow).
Bet Hesa Boon Pre Futurity Non Pro
Champion title in the Bet Hesa Boon Pre Futurity Non Pro went to Alessandro Tugnoli for Italy with his 4-year-old Quarter Horse gelding Wild Wet Mifi Cat (Cats Got Freckles x Miss Mify Olena). This horse and rider combination scored a total of 209.5 (70 herd/71 rein/68.5 cow).
Bet Hesa Boon Pre Futurity Level 1 Non Pro
For Italy Valentina Beccalli rode her 3-year-old gelding ZR Kayce Bet Chex (Bet Command Rey x CH Miss Remi Chex) to the first step of the podium in the Bet Hesa Boon Pre Futurity Level 1 Non Pro.

Taking the lead in the Bet Hesa Boon Pre Futurity Non Pro Boxing is Italian Clarissa Bisaschi who presented her 4-year-old Paint Horse gelding SA Great N Diabolik (Ret Great N San x Kib Mafalda N Jac). The talented bay ended with a 207.5 total score (69 herd/68.5 rein/70 boxing).
Bridle Spectacular
In the last event of the Bridle Spectacular Open before the important Nations Cup in Americana, the dominant was Markus Schopfer from Italy who presented the 11-year-old Quarter Horse stallion Bet Command Rey (Dual On Command x Dots My Bet) owned by Green Mountain Quarter Horses. The duo posted a 214.5 (72 herd/70 rein/72.5 cow).
Following on second position is another Italian: Giovanni Campanaro presented the 7-year-old Quarter Horse mare Trix Aristocratic Mr (Tassas Aristocrat x GH Dual Snappin) for owner Matese Ranch ending with 212.5 (66 herd/72.5 rein/74 cow).
In the Bridle Spectacular Non Pro the winner is from Germany: Marco Breitenbach and 13-year-old Quarter Horse mare VR Lolita Pep (Star G Grand Peppy x Lolita Jacs) posted a total of 212.5 (70.5 herd/69 rein/73 cow).
Reserve Champion title in the Bridle Spectacular Non Pro are Italian Giorgia Girardello and 6-year-old mare Girl of Spark (Spark N Whiz x One More Whiz Girl) who marked a 211.5 (69.5 herd/72 rein/70 cow).
Non Pro Bridle
The winner in this class went from Italy: Sarah Destefanis posted a 142.5 points (71.5 rein/71 cow) to win the Non Pro Bridle class. Between her rein the talented Hot As Wasabi, an 11-year-old mare sired by Little Dulces Rey and out of Whirlacat.
Open Bridle
Open Bridle Champion title remain in Italy with the performance of Giovanni Campanaro and 7-year-old Quarter Horse mare Trix Aristocratic Mr (Tassas Aristocrat x GH Dual Snappin) for owner Matese Ranch who marked a 146.5 (72.5 rein/74 cow).
Following on second position is Markus Schopfer from Italy and the 11-year-old Quarter Horse stallion Bet Command Rey (Dual On Command x Dots My Bet) owned by Green Mountain Quarter Horses. They ended with a 142.5 (70 rein/72.5 cow).
Box Drive and Non Pro Boxing
The winner in the Box Drive and Non Pro Boxing classes is from Spain: Raimundo Segura rode his 7-year-old stallion ANS Mokie Vaquero (ANS Mokie Cat x Junes Little CD) to the win with 138 points (68 rein/70 boxing) in the Non Pro Boxing.
Two Rein
In the Two Rein class, where horses transited from a hackamore (or bosal) to a bridle with a bit, the Champions in the Open division are Italian professional rider Luigi Di Felice and 5-year-old mare Bet A Miss Hunter (Bet Command Rey x Be A Miss Hunter), ending with 137 (68.5 rein/68.5 cow).
In the Non Pro division of the Two Rein French Marie-Claude Segonzac and 6-year-old Paint Horse mare Gunnafoxy took the lead with a total of 133.5 (68.5 rein/65 cow).
Following on second place was Austrian Peter Trixner and 6-year-old mare Kitty Can Dew (WR This Cats Smart x Dew It Flo) with 128.5 points (63 rein/65.5 cow).
Filippo Masi Novice Riders
Taking the lead in the Filippo Masi Novice Riders class is Italian Nicole Morelli who presented her 6-year-old Quarter Horse mare TS Shining Bullet (Kitas Spark x Date Gotta Gun) ending with 140.5 points (67.5 rein/73 boxing).
Second place honours went to Switzerland with the performance of Niggi Vlach and her 6-year-old Quarter Horse mare Chex Your Fancy Guns (Chex Your Guns x Whiz Dunit Fancy) one point behind the winners (68 rein/71.5 boxing).
Hackamore
Italian Samuele Poli Barberis took the lead in the Open Hackamore, between his reins the 5-year-old mare Lil Gunna R Great (ARC Gunna Sparkya x Lil Ruffles R Great) owned by Ingrid Novasconi who scored a 140 (70 rein/70 cow).
In the Non Pro Hackamore Germany brings home Champion title with Klaus Paucker and 5-year-old gelding Silver Catfish with 135 points (68.5 rein/66.5 cow). Second place honours went to Austrian Peter Trixner and 5-year-old mare HSR Metallic Alpha (Metallic Cat x Alpha Shiney Lights) with a 133 (67 rein/66 cow).
Limited Non Pro Boxing
In the Limited Non Pro Boxing the winner was a young rider from Austria, Thomas Trixner rode 10-year-old mare CR Tuff Boon Pickens (Woody Be Tuff x CR Dees Boon Meow) to a total of 142.5 (70.5 rein/72 boxing).
Reserve Champion honours went to Spain with Raimundo Segura and 7-year-old stallion ANS Mokie Vaquero (ANS Mokie Cat x Junes Little CD) who marked 137.5 points (66.5 rein/71 boxing).
Level 1 Non Pro Bridle
French Marie-Claude Segonzac and 6-year-old Paint Horse mare Gunnafoxy (Gunnatrashya x VQH Foxy Cat) took home Champion title in the Level 1 Non Pro Bridle with 141 points (71 rein/70 cow).
Limited Open Bridle
Germany dominated in the Limited Open Bridle placing two riders on the top of the ranking. The winner was Sophie Paucker who presented 11-year-old gelding Chics Electric Spark (Jacs Electric Spark x Smart Chic Ohoney) owned by Klaus Paucker with a total of 141.5 (70.5 rein/71 cow).
Reserve Champion title was for Marco Breitenbach and his Pep My Kim (Star G Grand Peppy x Cream Kimberly), their score was a 133 (69.5 rein/63.5 cow).
Herdwork All Ages
The Champion in the Herdwork All Ages Open was the Italian professional rider Samuele Poli Barberis who rode 5-year-old mare Lil Gunna R Great (ARC Gunna Sparkya x Lil Ruffles R Great) owned by Ingrid Novasconi to a score of 70.5.
Second place honours went again to Italy with Luigi Di Felice and 5-year-old mare Bet A Miss Hunter (Bet Command Rey x Be A Miss Hunter) with 69.5 points.
In the Non Pro division of the Herdwork All Ages Non Pro 2 riders scored a 70 and became Co-Champions. Andrea Panizza riding 11-year-old mare ANS Stylish Susy (More Than Stylish x ANS Wyatt Snappy) and Raimundo Segura with 7-year-old stallion ANS Mokie Vaquero (ANS Mokie Cat x Junes Little CD).
