SPRING STAKES 2017: repeating every year a start with great success!

The first limited aged event to 4-5 years old horses was held in Travagliato (BS) Italy from 11th to 12th March 2017.

Riders and horses have been judged by Enrico Righetti and Enrico Giaretta as scribe.

The plurimedal professional and open professionist Markus Schopfer took the lead at the Spring Stakes Open with Miss Betsy Chex, a young mare sired by Big Chex To Cash and a Hollywood Dunit line breeding dam with the score of 209 ( herd work 67, reined work  70.5 and fence work 72) owned by Agostino Novaresio.

On the second step of the podium we found from Switzerland Christoph Seiler with the young bay gelding Magic Nu Cash who placed a great 208 total score (herd work 72, reined work 70 and fence work 66).

The Limited Open division saw Magic Nu Cash and Cristoph Seiler again with score of 208 (herd work 72, reined work 70 and fence work 66).

And pretty the same total for the Reserve Champion Smartest Aristocrat ridden by Tomas Barta 207 of total score (herd work 69, reined work 68 and fence work 70).

Spring Stakes Non Pro Champion 2017 is Alessandro Tugnoli and Smart Easy Boom between the reins ( herd work 67, reined work 67, fence work 66). Miss Shirley Schalcher and the black Snapper Me Haida behind the winner with a 187 (60, 60, 67). The same Shirley and Snapper were the only one in Spring Stakes Limited Non Pro (187) and in the Novice Amateur (194).

ERCHA 1ST STAGE CHAMPIONSHIP

The winner of the Novice Horse Open class is Tomas Barta and under the saddle the great mare Miss Boogie Tary owned by Karl Simon, won with a 131 score (reined work 67.5/fence work 64).

The Limited Open Bridle Champion are the great duo made by the chestnut mare Snapplicious and Claudio Ferrami with the top score of 146 (reined work 72/ fence work 74). Second place for Sugar Smartest Lena and Tomas Barta for the owner Andrea Popp with a score of 140 (70/70).

Limited Open Bridle Regional from Germany Mr Richard Forster with Jacs Royal Boonsmal as Champion (138.5 reined work 71.5 fence work 67) and Genuine Ruf Dunnit as a Reserve Champion (132 total score (69 and 63).

The Open Bridle Class was also the first step for the qualification of the Nations Cup and this time the winner of the Open Bridle is Claudio Ferrami in saddle to Snappilicious wich run for the total score of 146.

Reserve Champion for our Italian rider Markus Schopfer and the Spat Olena sired bay gelding owned by Jannette Krahenbuhl, Spat Sailor Lena with a 72.5 and a 73 for a total of 145.5.

From France Laurent Buttigliero, Open Bridle Regional with A Red Little Star with the score of 0.

For the Two Reins division the Open rider Cristoph Seiler and the Eliane Gfeller’s horse Chex Your Guns with a reined work of 71.5 and fence of 65 total 136.5. Reserve Champion is Fabio Fossa and Cobra Tarissurprise with the score of 69.5 who also win the Two Reins Open Regional with the same score.

Two Reins Non Pro Champion step for the Hungarian Peter Kun and CR Sassy Little Legend with a reined work of 63.5 and fence work of 66 total score 129.5

Open Hackamore champion is Christoph Seiler and Elian Gfeller’s Magic Nu Cash, 141.5 was their score.

Novice Riders Champion and Novice Riders Regional Champions Bettina Konigsbauer and Jacs Royal Boonsmal reined 69 fence 70 total 139 in both divisions. Reserve Champion for the Italian one Alessia Marchetti with her girl GP Smart Queen with the score of 132. Second place for Carlotta Zigiotti and Miss Snapper Hickory in Novice Riders Regional with the reined score of 65.5 and fence score of 71 total 136.5.

Novice Riders Non Pro Champion Richard Forster with Jacs Royal Boonsmal and the score of 136.5 and Reserve with Genuine Ruf Dunit 134.

Non Pro Limited first place for Big And Sweet BB Schirley Schalcher with a great score of 141 and second place honors for Genuine Ruf Dunit and Richard Forster 139.5.

Non Pro Limited Regional and Non Pro Bridle Regional both won by Richard Forster with Genuine Ruf Dunit 139.5 and Fr Slidin to Hollywood 69.

In the Non Pro Bridle class we found Richard Forster again with Jacs Royal Boonsmal 137,5 and Reserve champion title for Claudio Ferrami and the beautiful Snappilicious with a score of 136.5.

In the end the podium of the spectacular Herd Work All Ages Open Gianfausto Previcini with Starlight Scorpion a stallion sired by Starlight Elan and owned by Previcini/Possenti made a great score of 73.

Reserve Champion honors went to the roan mare Shes A Peptocat sired by Hes A PeptoSpoonFun  ridden by Franco Rossi and owned by Simona Gallingani score 71.

The last Herdwork All Ages Open Regional saw the French guy Laurent Buttigliero and A Red Little Star with a 69 score and second place for Miss Boogie Tari and Tomas Barta, the owner Karl Simone takes home  a 67 score.
