AUTUMN SHOW 2016: the last of the year for ERCHA
Giovanni Campanaro took the lead in the Autumn Show Open
The last limited aged event of the European Reined Cow Horse Association was held in Travagliato (BS) Italy from 22nd to 23rd October 2016. A good number of horses is judged by the italian judge Enrico Righetti with Otto De Fazio as scribe.
The young professional Giovanni Campanaro from Italy riding Alessandro Tugnoli’s Starsky Diamond (Stargate Dancer x Micamale Bonita) took the lead in the Autumn Show Open with a total score of 218 (72 herd/71.5 rein/74.5 cow). This is the very first time that Giovanni ride this 2011 Paint Horse gelding, always showed before in the Non Pro divisions with his owner in saddle. On the second step of the podium Christoph Seiler placed Eliane Gfeller’s Magic Nu Cash a 4-years-old stallion by Chics Magic Potion and out of Tuff Little Chex. The total of the pair is a 215.5 (70.5 herd/70 rein/75 cow). Thanks to this score Seiler and his mount are also Autumn Show Limited Open Champions
Limited Open Reserve Champion title went to Andrea Santini with his ANS Cash For Wyatt (ANS Wyatt Pep x Miss N Holly), 212.5 is their total score (71 herd/69 rein/72.5 cow).
In the Limited Non Pro division the winner is Alessandro Tugnoli with his 5-year-old stallion Skeet Dancer (Skeets Dun x I Nita Diamond) between the reins. The total is a good 210 (69 herd/69 rein/72 cow). Reserve Champion title in this division and Novice Amateur Champion titale went to Shirley Schalcher and her Big And Sweet BB (Big Chex To Cash x Sweet Lil Diamond BB) only 3 points behind the winner in the Limited Non Pro (66 herd/69 rein/72 cow). 201.5 is the winning score of the pair in the Novice Amateur division (66 herd/69 rein/72.5 boxing).
Talk Italian the Non Pro division of the Autumn Show, Mattia Maurizi and Corinna Maurizi’s Bar Smart Tora Lena (ARC Tora Tora x Resketta) took the lead with a score of 212 (72 herd/68 rein/72 cow). This winning pay the hard trip from the beautiful Marche region! On the second step of the podium we find Alessandro Tugnoli and Skeet Dancer with a total of 210.
The last stage of the ERCHA/NRCHA 2016 championship and the ERCHA approved regional show finals
Andrea Santini and ANS Snack Cat owned by Gianluca Sacco won the Novice Horse Open Final class with a 137 (69 rein/68 cow). Fabio Fossa and Cobra Tarissurprise were Reserve Champions in this division with 3 points behind the winner (67 rein/67 cow).
In the Two Rein Open, the first NRCHA approved class, Markus Schopfer riding Spat Sailor Lena (Spat Olena x Heidy Sailor) owned by Jeannette Krahenbuhl won with 144 points (72 rein/72 cow). Andrea Ambrogiani and GF Shine For Me took the lead in the Two Rein Non Pro with a total of 132.5 (70.5 rein/62 cow).
The Open Bridle saw the winning of Markus Schopfer with the great sorrel stallion Peptos Lil Bingo (Peptoboonsmal x Conchita Gay Bingo) owned by Markus same. The total score is a 140.5 (70.5 rein/70 cow). On the second place of the Open we find again Markus Schopfer, this time with Spat Sailor Lena between the reins, 139.5 is their total (71 rein/68.5 cow). On the first place of the Limited Open division we can find Stefano Chiari with his Buenomax, 13-year-old chestnut mare by Buenonic Chex and out of Pidgeon Poo with the score of 138.5 (68.5 rein/70 cow). Reserve champion title in the Limited Open is for Claudio Salvia and Frozen Peppys Lena with a 138.5 (69 rein/69.5 cow). The winner of the Open Bridle Regional final is Laurent Buttigliero with A Red Little Star.
In the Novice Riders the winner is Elena Ferrari with Cuttin Memphis a great bay gelding that made happy is rider with a total of 139.5 (68.5 rein/71 boxing). Second place honors went to Nathalie Ten Sjithoff and Twister Olena Chic. In the regional final of this class the winner was ARC Dualin Surprise with the young Silvia Manfredi in saddle, the pair marked a total of 140 (69.5 rein/70.5 boxing). Elena Ferrari and Cuttin Memphis are Reserve Champions.
The Herdwork All Ages start the day on Sunday. And this time the winner of the Open Division is Sheri Mason with Michela Rossignoli’s Spook Snapper Cat between the reins and the score of 71. Sheri again but this time with Smartys Lil Cowboy placed second only half point behind the winner. In the Non Pro the best rider was Yvonne Heinzer with Smart Blackbird and the score of 69. Again Mr. Peter Kun on the second step of the podium with Snappy Hunter and a 70 score. In the regional Open final division the winner is Andrea Santini and Beauty Rey By Merada owned by Massimo Bellezza. Second place in the regional final for Laurent Buttigliero and A Red Little Star. In the regional Non Pro final division is Jacky Molliex Donjon the winner with his Backers Premium Choice between the reins.
Non Pro Limited Bridle Champion title for Nathalie Ten Sjithoff and Twister Olena Chic. Their total score is a 139.5 (69.5 rein/70 cow). Martina Grassi and Frozen Peppys Lena placed second with a 138 (69 rein/69 cow).

Last Non Pro Bridle champion title of year is for Claudio Ferrami and Snapplicious with a 139 score (69.5 rein/69.5 cow). Martina Grassi are Reserve Champion in this division. In the regional final the winner is Michel Escoffier with SA Espresso Surprise between the reins and the score of 136.5 (67.5 rein/69 cow).
The appointment with the next show of the European Reined Cow Horse Association will be for the first months of the 2017. On January we will have also a judges seminar, we will wait you!
