ERCHA/NRCHA PREFUTURITY

FINALS REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP ERCHA 2012

The ERCHA 2012 Pre Futurity, NRCHA approved, was held on October 6th-7th in Travagliato (BS). The show was judged by Tony Cancellieri, helped as scribe by Otto De Fazio.

This special event is open to 3-4 years old horses, showed in snaffle bit two handed.

The winner of the Ercha 2012 open Pre Futurity was Markus Schopfer riding 3 years old sorrel mare Anna Lil Peptos (Peptos Lil Bingo x Cathleena Enterprise) owned by Massimo Milano. The pair scored 69 in the herd work, 72 in the rein work and 74 down the fence for a total of 215. Markus is very proud of this mare, totally trained by him.

Reserve champion in this class was again Markus Schopfer this time with Arc Bueno Chicxinic, by Chic Please and owned by Mirko Viviani, (68-72-73) their scores . This 4 years old mare is born as a reining horse, and since the end of 2011 is also a cow horse. With is owner, Mirko Viviani, she has already win the Novice Horse Non Pro during the Ercha/Nrcha Hackamore Classic 2012.

Third place for Samuele Poli aboard This Cats Light, 4 years old roan stallion son of High brown Cat. The pair scored 71 in the herd work, 70.5 in the rein work and 68 in the fence work.

In the non pro section of this aged event the winner is once a time Massimo Milano riding Hollywood Even Flow, palomino gelding (Mr Tori Kid x Hollywood Lady Two): their score was 68, 70.5 and 73 for a total of 211.5. Second place for Michele Masi and Haidaz (Smartaz x Hollywood Haida). The third place went to Naama Reiss and her Double Pick Olena by Doctor Pic.

In the Limited Open division, the champion honors went to Andrea Trevisan, riding Me Zan Tari Catalyst, a 4 year old palomino gelding,  owned by the same Andrea. The pair scored a composite of 202 (67-67-68), having some trouble during the last fence work run. The pair was also 8th in the Open division. Reserve champion title was of Marco Cestaro and Blond Lena Lynx, 3 years old palomino mare by Arc Genuine Goldlynx and out of Polin Peppy Lena. Marco also placed 3rd in the limited open ranking (and 10th in the open) riding his other horse Blazing Acres (Acres Of Time x Peppy La Isla).

Naama Reiss and Double Pick Olena, 4 year old bay mare won the Limited Non Pro Ercha Pre Futurity with a composite of 200.5. Second place for Adelmo Vannini riding A Time To Sparkle, by A Chic In Time. Third place was for Matteo Andreoli and Maggie Dualina.

Regarding the 4th stage of the Ercha championship 2012: in the herdwork all ages open the winner is Fausto Previcini and Ill Colour You Smart owned by Corted’oro Ranch, with a score of 72,5. Gianluca Munarini with Find Me Out owned by Impresa Agricola Cuoghi took the reserve champion honors. Third place for Marco Sacchetti riding Coupe Dualville. For the herdwork all ages non pro Alex Broennimann aboard Peptos Stylish Fool win the champion title. Sandro Peretto riding Snappers Victoria gained the 2nd place in this class. There was a tie for the third place: Gianni Calzolari with his Redwhiteandblue Boon and Andrea Pagani with Doc Doc Holiday.

In the Non Pro Bridle Nrcha approved the winner was Alberto Sbraga and Heza Chic N Pride (70.5-65). This pair also win the novice riders class, where the second place is for Matteo Andreoli and Maggie Dualina.

Only one enter in the open hackamore and also the winner: Markus Schopfer with Chics A Shining owned by Johannes Tsagher (71-65).

Markus Schopfer riding Elans Painted Rooster owned by Jeannette Krahenbuhl won the novice horse open class (71,5-66). Reserve champion honors went to Francesca Baron and Dualin Pepto, 3 years old sorrel mare owned by Pavel Nechyba.

Markus Schopfer and Mh Sweet Boon, 6 years old grey stallion by Bodee Boonsmall and out of Wsr Sweat Lil Jazz owned by Dominique Reynaud was the winner of the open bridle Nrcha approved, (72.5-70).

 

The next Ercha approved show will be the Futurity, that will be held in Lyon – France from 31st october to 4th November 2012.
